    Good day!

I wanted to integrate technology more in teaching science such as using application or software, because I think it would be helpful to teachers and even to students so that their interests will be diverted on playing an educational science games or software rather than wasting their time dealing with other non-sense applications.

Will you suggest some applications in any branch of science that is really educational and reliable?

    Thank you in advance

I use chemguide (https://www.chemguide.co.uk) and chemsheets (https://www.scisheets.co.uk) for teaching ideas and resources. A lot of my students like this website (Advanced Level Chemistry Revision Notes UK GCE AS A2 A Level doc brown iphone ipad notepad notebook netbook epad tablet android). This site (https://www.s-cool.co.uk/a-level/chemistry) is also a useful revision resource.

Wow! Sounds interesting. I'll check these out. Thank you so much sir

So you're handling chemistry? What topic in chemistry do you think your students find it hard to understand?

It varies, some students struggle with the mathematical stuff like buffer calculations and thermodynamics/kinetics. Others seem to find the organic chemistry mechanisms difficult...

I see, so what strategies did you used so that the students who were struggling can learn those topics?

For the mathematical stuff I write questions that break the problem down into simple parts that they can do. I then show them how to reassemble the smaller sections to solve the problem. For the mechanisms I use molecular models so they can visualise what is happening in the reaction. I sometimes get them to use the models to make stop-motion animations of what is happening at each stage of the reaction.

Surely integrating technology in teaching can be very useful for teachers to engage students and enhancing the learning process as well.
