Ok hello there, I need your help! So I have a copper tube and a magnet, and I'm trying to make a model for an elevator. I use faraday's law so it safely goes down, but I don't know how I should make it go up. I was thinking about using repulsion, but how would be able to chose which floor I want to go up to? (The copper is divided with trapdoors that open and close). Also, another question, if I wrap copper wire around the tube and drop a magnet, will the eddy currents go through the wire and turn on any output I give the wire?

Use a linear motor - a series of coils that energize and attract the magnet.

Yes, the wire will show a voltage.

How could I implement it if I'm using a copper tube because I obviously want it stable
