Thread: Most users ever online

At the bottom of the Index, it says, Most users ever online was 245 on Sat Jun 18, 2005 10:02 am. Why were so many online that day? was there a special event? or was it coincedental? this was before my time, so i wouldnt know

I think there's something else behind this. I know a small forum (just over 150 registered users, usually only 1 or 2 people online) which has the following statistic:
"Most users ever online was 299 on Fri Feb 18, 2005 7:51 am"

This must be due to either registration by search engines or some spam attack

or just non-registered users. I think it counts guests too. still, you are probobly right.

Perhaps it was just a 'psuedo random' event... :wink:
