I've been in a running battle with this guy in another science forum for over a month and I'd like to discuss it here too. Should I just post the topic and argue the whole thing over again or post a link for the thread to be critiqued? It's a controversial topic, and I don't want to potentially run afoul of the rules by posting a link to a thread in another science forum if it's not acceptable to do that.

Perhaps you can briefly describe what the discussion was about, and I can tell you then if it is suitable for this forum, and in which section. Don't just link off-site.

    Lunar photography.
If this is about moon landing conspiracies, then perhaps the "Personal Theories" section is appropriate. I should tell you straight out though that this is a mainstream science forum, so if you are attempting to advocate that the moon landing was a hoax, you will not get anywhere here. I am just mentioning this to save everyone from wasting time.
If it is about actual physics or astronomy ( i.e. optics etc ), then you can put it either into the main Physics section, or into General Discussion.
