I have moved this thread from physics since perpetual motion as a science has long ago run out of steam.

That is not to be rude, but I saw that you referenced the same when addressing resistance and structure.

    Welcome,

Your queston is ambiguous to say the least it can be read a number of conrtradictory ways:-

"What is the most up to date disproven theory of perpetual motion?"

Do you mean what precludes Perpetual motion from being a reality?

ie which theory sugests perpetual motion will not work?

IT has other meanings as well but some are plain nonsensical.

    Hi Johni,
I think people probably come up with these kind of "theories" every day. It would be difficult to keep up with them.

I don't know the answer to your question.

    Cheers,
    william

Yes, Thank you...what theory/scientific law suggests that it will not work, and where can I find more information pertaining to this subject.

Energy cannot be created or destroyed, essentially when you put a spoonful in, some of that energy is constantly lost in friction thus the wheel or whatever slows down - it does not revolve dorever. Look up thermodynamics - laws.

the proof of it now working is quite simple

if you get more than you put in energy is created wich doesnt happen in our world of the middle sized stuff

Always an eye to the quanta.. IF only we could scale it up - we'd all have a twin we could blame...

I have a theory that perpetual motion is non-achievable, simply because it assumes the life of our universe is infinite, and that there will always be a sufficiently high temperature to keep lubricants liquid. Not to mention Friction, the laws of motion, the laws of thermodynamics, all would have to be rewritten.
