Is there any gas which acts like a jelly ? When touched bends and when not comes to its original place ?Just like jelly, bends a little and back to the original shape !!

Language experts believe that the words gas and chaos probably descended from the same original word, and so, you can see in the word gas the idea of naming the substance based on its chaotic (ie, unpredictable) nature.

Most likely, no kind of gas exists that, after perturbed, returns to its original shape. I also doubt that a liquid would behave as you suggest. So, that leaves a solid, such as — as you said — jelly.

However, at extreme pressures and/or temperatures, who knows what some gases might do.

If there were any "gas" that behaved like that it wouldn't be a gas.
