I'm in S.E. Michigan. This morning at around 6am there was a flash of light outside that lite up the darn room I was in even thought the venician blinds were closed. Had to be at least as bright as close lightning. One flash and thats all. I saw this happen 2 time last summer also. Always between 5am and 7am. One time it flashed and then it flashed again an hour later. I talked to a few people on line that have seen this many times.
    Anyone know what it is?

No not right off. Was there any sound associated with the flashes? Did anyone else that claimed to have seen these flashes offer any ideas as to what might be causing them? Also, have you done any Internet research yet?

Here in the Yukon we had a meteorite fall several years ago and it light up the predawn sky and made a boom as it broke the sound barrier. Wildest thing I've ever seen. I was inside on the couch reading a book and hubby was on the deck outside having a smoke. The flash briefly illuminated the whole inside of our home.

It was alien UFOs. No doubt about it. They are here. But I am sure skeptics will tell you it was a meteorite or the planet Venus or swamp gas or the glare off a reflective cabbage patch or military flares.

No sound associated. I would not suspect meteor because it has happened on 3 different occasions and all in the same short pre-dawn time period. I mentioned it to a person who said they know what I am talking about because they have seen it in a neighboring town, at 1AM, and they said the whole sky lite up very bright. So it is an atmospheric thing.
