What is the difference between ‘operational’ (or ‘normal’) science and ‘origins’ science?
Can anyone tell me please...
Thanx in advance.

I was not aware that science is divided along such lines, but let me bring up some thoughts that might shed some light,.
When dealing with the origins of something, there is generally little of no evidence to deal with. Take for example, the origin of religion. There is no way we can prove or document its origin. However, by using what we have learned, we can come up with a theory that is probably very accurate. It is not the type of science, however, that we can test and even use to make predictions from.
