Oh....Dev on Bling...should be in jewellery business or blogging about it.
He made the cut! I see his full name is Devondeep Singh Bling.

Goddam, that was a rough night. It’s like every time I visit a hospital, clinic or doctor’s office I pick up a virus. Major chest cold, hacking phlegm all night, couldn’t lay down. Had to try and sleep sitting up, not very good at it. i need sleep. My sliced up hand is the least of my worries.

Looking forward to watching The Masters today but I hear weather may be bad.

I am just about to go out, to MacDonalds, in Newcastle City centre to fat shame a few people. Then all of a sudden it hit me, who am I today ? Do I want to be Non Binary/Genderqueer, perhaps Gender Fluid, even Demigender or do I just go as a boring old Hetrosexual. There is always a twist, what does one do ?

Can we just get rid of Dave permanently? None of his last few hundred posts have contributed anything. He just trolls now trying to start flame wars.

Otherwise I am in the process of writing the obituary for my grandmother. She was just moved into hospice because they cannot stop some bleeding in the brain. Honestly this is a long time coming her dementia is terrible at this point.

It started early because of weather warnings. Hope it's Molinari now that Bling is too far down the leader board.

Frankly, the better of the two discussing this on the available evidence.. Also it wasn't only me pointing out you're a dick. Falconer agreed and you got a three day ban... Maybe your mind needs a bit of adjusting.

You know what, you have been one of the most fouled mouthed contributors to this forum, you have in the last few years moderated your language, but still you cannot hold it back.

Pretty much. Although years ago he used to actually take time to craft arguments and defend ideas. Now he just seagulls his way through threads, ignoring people when they call him out, all while spouting inflammatory BS just to get a rise out of people.

Just want everyone to know in a friendly way that I appreciate the efforts of those who do their best to protect the sanctity of the forum. Kind of makes me feel like a child, a bubble wrapped kid of today's younger generations. I didn't get that kind of over the shoulder treatment from my parents so it's all new to me and personally, I don't know what to make of it. Trolls and their ilk don't bother me much at all really. I recognize most of them as such but in all honesty I've had enough experience over the years to not let them get to me. I realize the intentions for protecting from troll interference are good. It could mean some people are unaware that nefarious posters exist, so in that respect the protection doesn't surprise me in the least. Still, if the floor is dirty then put a broom to it and with that, the possibility exists that someone like myself may see simple forum hygiene as bubble wrapping.

Then there's the troller. I can't speak for them but I feel pretty certain that someone who is not able to express themselves clearly or are unintentionally on a descent into moral turpitude may unwittingly send the 'troll alert' signal. Not saying this is the case here but the possibility exists for misidentification on some borderline cases. Requires exact judgment and I realize it must be based on the guardian's experience. However judgement is not 100% foolproof and mistakes will be made. I honestly can't say how I could be definite about faceless disembodied keyboard punchers but I think it is necessary to be cautious and if a person feels wrongly labelled then it's up to them to fix it.

I have been doing coding and creative writing lately. I have been mostly working with C++ and Java. I started fresh with my novel again recently and I am probably going to stick with this version.

I'm at work at the moment, and then after work I'm going over to a friends house for a barbecue and some good old tabletop DnD.

I have never played Dungeons and Dragons. Is it hard to learn and play? I believe the master of the game makes up a story and you play along and level up along with it.

DnD takes a little bit of effort to learn, but once you get the hang of it, it's not bad. Yeah the DM/GM creates the world and the scenario, but the players are free to make their own decisions so things can go way off the rails of what the DM/GM had planned. For instance, I've heard of groups deciding that they didn't want to be heroes after all and deciding to join the villains of their game. I had a teammate who played a chaotic evil rogue and he would go hobo hunting whenever we visited cities just for the sake of it, my character was lawful evil and I become a slum lord with the money we made in our campaign for the king. I also used to pay for a teammates character to visit brothels in every town to keep my character on his good side.

That sounds fun. Maybe I will take the time to learn DnD sometime. It sounds like the game could go anywhere the players want.

DnD games are only limited by the imagination and creativity of the group.

Sitting at my computer at work, browsing the forum, procrastinating on my work. It's like 80 degrees and sunny here.

Using the computer. Having wrong thoughts. Making use of high technology that I don't even understand. Why would someone be so stupid as to make technology so advanced that you can't even understand it. They don't explain it. Cellphones should have a case so you don't drop them. And what if flying saucers just flew by. Wrong thoughts and typing.

    Not unusual.

Right now I have the microscope fired up and I've been watching a Giant Amoeba (Chaos carolinense) for a few hours. Just chilling and watching an Amoeba.

Like it. Oh and welcome to forum. I remember receiving a microscope as a kid and going down to the local pond, collecting some water to use in a search for paramecium. Maybe it was just shit luck but I found a couple that day upon viewing. I thought it was the coolest thing.

is the amoeba you’re viewing one of the parasitic type that carries that human illness bug?

There are a lot of different parts to a protozoa. My beagle just had her puppies this morning. She had them right in the middle of the bed. Now I need a new bed. I should be shopping around for a day bed or something, but I'm not. Instead I'm listening to a Pat Metheney album and thinking about the foundations and frameworks of science. Why if you make a good discovery that no one else knows it can take 50 to 400 years or something before the same discovery is made by someone else. If everyone knows the discovery, discoveries, then it only takes up to 5 years before someone else discovers and claims it. I'm just confused because of the new puppies. Friend bought a small pool and carpet for the bottom for them. Should work. Snoopy dogs are now available.
