can we think in reverse direction consciously?

I think for 1 hour, starting with concept A, at end of 60th minute I am at concept Z.
I think for another 1 hour, starting with concept Z, at end of 120th minute I am at concept A again, while thinking exactly in reverse.

I'm trying to reverse the process of taking what you say into my brain, but it isn't working.

Try arithmetic, 2*2, 4*4, 16*16, etc. The reverse is harder.

    What? 16*16, 4*4, 2*2?

    Multiplication is commutative.

That is not untrue etc. It is the it is the magnitude, complexity, and as distribution of thought. Try that backwards. Also did you know reversing while thumb twiddling is more difficult with eyes closed?

It all depends on how good your memory is.

If you can remember what B made you think about C and what A made you think about B and so on, then sure.

    It's just a memory game.

If I think I get what you asking, then I’d say the answer is no, probably.

If your concept A is the wondering of what’s concealed inside a wooden box and your concept B comes from knowing what’s inside the box, after revealing the contents. Then the thought process is impossible in reverse. You can’t erase what you know. Unless you suffer from amnesia, of course.

Thinking along a line can be difficult due to biasing. If your thoughts are of a consistant subject ,fine.
But memories within a set time frame are more difficult. Two reasons for that are memory fade, and things like not wanting to remember some things. Think of being called names as a child. Remember and think about each one first to last and then back. Thoughts are biased depending on what you think of the thoughts themselves. It dwelves into psychology.
