....in your lifetime or in what time you have left? I realize that there are probably more things I shouldn't expect to ever bear witness to, like Bigfoot and other mythological beasts that others insist exist. I'm not expecting a big asteroid hit but does it make any difference if I'm wrong about that? Let's see....ghosts, nah! World peace or peace in the Middle East, nah! The NO list is easy but what do I think has the highest probability of happening before I'm exterminated?

I suppose if I were mentally ill, subject to hallucinations or living in some kind of mind altered reality then I should expect to see just about anything. Hoping that doesn't come to fruition. Still, what should I expect to see? I guess I could stick with what works like another war or a disease epidemic. It's tough because you're brain is doing the calculations to pick out that one thing of high probability. I'll sheepishly admit that I think I have seen UFO's on 2 occasions, one of which I shared with other witnesses but since that's been done then what do I have left to see? If I take global warming seriously then I think I can expect to see more evidence that this phenomenon is taking place. So with that in mind I think that within the next twenty years, barring death or blindness, I expect to see a huge man made catastrophe take place that affects the whole planet. Exactly what it will be I can't say, maybe it will be the effects of global warming or something else yet I expect it to be man made before natural, although I suppose they could both be linked.

All that belongs to human understanding, in this deep ignorance and obscurity, is to be skeptical, or at least cautious; and not to admit of any hypothesis, whatsoever; much less, of any which is supported by no appearance of probability...Hume

How about a full on religious war?
Not a war for oil or against terrorism - but a full on Christians vs Muslims war?
