Thread: the universe

the universe. how often do we think we understand it. so we attempt to prove our existence but then decide that the effort it would take is futile. i think we like to believe there is an after life, but how much of this can we be sure of. i think that to better understand life you have to look at the reality of existence. it's easier to understand how we are alive instead of trying to figure out why. there is no proof as to how we are alive, we just know certain things about how to survive. in the end people will have to face the consequences that evolution seperates us and also makes us similar. It provides a lot of answers as to why things are they way they are. it will also help allow us to see the simplicity of life and easily explain it to others.

I think that in understanding the Universe, we also end up learning about ourselves in unexpected ways.
Besides, you or I could spend all day studying the Universe, but then we go and do something that we don't study- like play a game with our kids. We don't think about the how or why of it- we just enjoy feeling alive.
The day after, when we go to work, we can ask the deeper questions.

I don't know I place more of an emphasis that life is based in reality. Not to much emphasis is needed to be placed in the stars.

See- that is what's known as an opinion.
I could just as easily say that no emphasis need be placed on your or your family- because you're outside of my Dunbar Number.

I do not think that obvious statements require proof.

The question of if we exist is absurd. But it is of course true that we can question our existence. How?,meaning?,pattern behind?,ultimate goal? Or just cause and effect?

Reality to me is like just in time product.It is as if someone wants us to think that all this is real.Time is running so fast, that you just don't get adequate time to realize the flaws in everyday reality.
