    Okay

So I have a question. Don't know if it's really an easy one or not but I'm curious. I tried to find if there was a similar thread already but didn't find one easily.

    Question:

Imagine you are inside a small cylindrical room where all the walls, ceiling and floor are mirrors. You also have a lightsource so you can see. I wonder what you would see in the mirrors. I imagine you would see some repating distorted mirror image of yourself as the mirrors mirror eachother but what would be around you?

    / R

Yes you would see the light and yourself just being flected at different angles back and forth off the interior surfaces of the cylinder. Because of the surface curvature you would get a distorted image, just like in a hall of mirrors at a funfair, then the distorted image would be reflected again by the opposite side of the cylinder which would further distort the image. So you'd have a big distorted image looking from any angle with lots of images in perspective in the background getting progressively smaller and more distorted, also on top of all this you would have bits of distorted images all around from the strange angles where the light is being reflected in all directions.

Does the sight of your reflection always have that effect?

Are these flat mirrors or one big curved mirror?
