We all know that twinkling of stars are due to light undergoing refraction through various layers of atmosphere. Then why don't planets twinkle? , as the reflected light from planet must undergo refraction.

The brightest stars do not appear to twinkle and it is the brightness of the planets that generally removes this effect for them. When the planets are close to the horizon and seen through more atmosphere, they may also twinkle. Twinkling is occuring for all planets and star effect, it simply a matter of whether the effect is perceived by the human eye, and brightness tends to suppress the ability to notice it.
