    Hello everyone..

This is just something I felt compelled to say, and it may not fit in this section of the forum.

    Regardless, here it is:
I've recent came up with the idea of Nerd Appreciation Day, and I really want to get this off the ground.. It would be wonderful if the nerds of the world like me had a day of our own eh? :P

Anyways, this is the rant article A Call to Action for the Fellow Nerd - Relativistic Designs | Relativistic Designs and its got a image badge at the bottom anyone can embed..

I know this is a lot to ask from somebody you don't even know, but if possible, can you please share the message of Nerd Appreciation Day through Facebook or Twitter

    Thanks so much!

    Stormwolf

P.S. If you don't believe in this or think this post is spam.. Sorry!! I do believe in it and I just thought to let as many people know as possible..

Lmao, my birthday is National Nothing Day!! I love it! It so fits my perspective of the world.

And doing nothing is usually how I "celebrate" my birthday.

I think I am more of a dork.. but popular kids usually don't know the difference. They think all nonpopular people look alike. They are cliquists.

College changes things ...in a good way...dramatically.Cliques still exist but I think college levels the playing ground a bit.Be yourself. And if the popular kids don't like you, it is their loss.:')

Yeah I know, I was being silly. Highschool is way behind me. My oldest son is 18. I haven't had any issues in college but I don't socialize much. The sad thing is, I'm 37 and have discovered that some people never grow up and continue the clique mentality well into their 30's, 40, 50's and even 60's.

Lol, yes it is rather like nails in a chalk board when I see ppl (of any age) trying to win over ppl they probably dislike but think that a fake friendship will launch their career, or social status somehow.:/

The "lord of the flies" mentality can be seen online, too. People bullying others, ppl bowing down to the bullies. Not me. I try to treat everyone with respect and if I have to pretend to be someone I'm not...I want nothing to do with said "clique." /my clique rant lol

Sorry to go off topic, OP! Back to Nerd Appreciation Day!
