    This liquid should in effect be a heat filter for sunlight that allows through as much visible light as possible...Can anyone help?

    Think about all those shots you've seen of divers under tropical seas or lagoons. A lot of sunlight down there, but not a lot of heat.

    For your purposes it will be a question of working out quantities.
