Thread: Rust and lemon juice

Hi,

I have several times used lemon juice and sunshine to get rid of rust stains on clothing and have always been amazed by the result. Can somebody explain to me the chemical process involved?

I'll second that, never knew how to get rust stains out of clothes. And there is nothing worse than having rust get on all your clothes because your machine has rust in it.
