Hi. I want to know the meaning of Coulomb's equation. F = (M1XM2)/R2. Why it is R squared and why not n times R, or some other single variable in the place of R squared. Is it R squared related to area, if so how? How to understand this equation.

Thank you Professor. What is the shape of force radiating outwards? Is it is spherical, what happens to 4(pi) in the equation?

Thank you. Why the dielectric constant is always positive? Tell me something theoretical about dielectric constant and electric polarization's relation.
