I used toput do something witchy! in spanish language forums just because it sounded like an Inquisition's witch cry [paradygm of free-thought] . In the spanish world, that phrase is almost unknown, innocuous. When i subscribed here, i forgoti was typing in an english language forum.

    THE PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE

Googlingabout Manson found nothing but #1. A lunatic with strong homicidal tendences, and #2. A leader of a cult with an intelligible doctrine. Maybe he is only #1?
Maybe i don't understand Seagypsy because that kindof hippie assassin doesn’t exist in my culture. Even serial killers addicted tokill are extremely rare. In my country the typical assassin is the marxist terrorist (aften that label is a disguise of a narco) or the common thieve. Do they fits in the above categories?..
Perceivedas a guy who idolize Manson means a junkie extremely easy to indoctrinate, or sadistic psychopath perhaps?
The humankind paid an extremely high price for racism in the past century. If i were a racist troglodyte why i could have interest in science topics rather than in politics?

THE CONTEXT WHERE THE QUOTE APPEARS

You couldfind a do something witcy! at ends ofreplies to my philosophical puzzles.
You neverwill find a do something witchy! at endsof replies to any topic related to racial ideology or occultism.
    A SENSELESS SELF-DEFEATING ACT
I saw thetv A&E Manson interview and remember his words: if you wanna do something,do it well, do something witchy! I didn’t understand what he was talking about. To be sureit wasn’t an offensive phrase, googled and saw the phrase was: leavesomething…not do something…
I forgot I was typing in an english language forum.
Didn’tknow that the phrase was well-known, neither that was the last order he didbefore the murder of Sharon Tate.
The intentional act of put the remarkI idolize Manson once and again is a senselessself-defeating act.

It seems to bother you a great deal that others might think you were quoting Manson. I can see why.

At this point, though, you've drawn more attention to it than anyone else has. I think you need to accept that most of the readers on here acknowledge that you did not intentionally quote Manson.
Intended or not, it's probably best to no longer use the phrase. The choice is yours...
But in the interest of cultural exchange, it's probably best to not use the phrase.

I'm quite sure that no one thinks you are trying to be Manson.

Strange that we are discussing Manson and not someone famous for something positive they have accomplished in their lives.

I'm not sure why you are so concerned about what I think of it. I am only one person. I noticed the "do something witchy" quote long before anyone else brought it up and said nothing. I recognized it when I used to post on that other forum where you used it. But said nothing. My only contribution here was when others asked what it was about and I answered by giving a possibility. You could have just been direct and explained what the deal was but instead started making jokes and comments that indicated you knew something of Manson then later claimed to never know anything about him. Your own contradictions and flighty reaction to it, is what got you the worst attention. It's a sad coincidence for you that Charles Manson himself would respond in much the same way you did to questions of his motives. Bizarre off the wall remarks that made no sense, laughing and joking about things that most people do not find funny at all.

The thing is, when making a quote, especially when translated from another language, sometimes you need to consider how it translates because often the meaning behind it doesn't make the cross over. When you find yourself in the middle of an innocent social blunder while dealing with people outside your culture, it is best to just acknowledge the mistake and avoid doing it again. Rather than constantly arguing about it.

Again, don't worry yourself over what I think. I don't exactly run this forum. Nor am I the most popular person here. And I personally didn't care if you did or did not like or know of Manson. I wasn't trying to label you or make you look bad. You did that all by yourself. I was curious about why you used that quote and what it meant to you, but purely because I am very interested in psychology. That does not mean that I had any desire, or qualification, to diagnose you. I am curious about lots of things. It is my nature.

I am not your enemy. I was actually trying to help you to see how you were coming across to others so that you could alter your behavior on the forum and maybe change the image you had created for yourself. I did not call you a nutjob or crazy. That was somebody else.

As far as "holydemonomancy" is concerned, I am not familiar with the quote and cannot imagine what it means. I will not bother to ask about it, because your habit to over react to simple questions is more than I care deal with.

As you have already been advised to, I will also suggest that you just let it go.

I don't know how you care your husband Neverfly and deal with your empathy problems at the same time. Just justify your analysis, why you are afraid to describe in my face which kind of person you think i am?

You make too many assumptions. And PhDemon makes a very good point. Why are you bringing up an old argument? Do you NEED to feel like a victim? What purpose does this serve for you? What difference does it make to you what I think of you. Why is MY opinion so damned important?

I've got to say that reading bezoar channeling Charlie makes me want to go decapitate a chicken. The pluck it, gut it, marinate it in red wine and some spices, stuff it with ham and cheese and bake it.
