    Hellow,guys.
    I will be a freshman japanese student at college in CA from Dec,then I have some questions rather than discussion.

    I heard a bit weird story from my friends who are in CA or were.
    Are there any high-class preferable tendency on campas?
    There are some in society,I mean working place, but how is on campus?
    I would like to respond it frankly.

    Another question is that some political favor such as conservative, democratic, republic, liberal affect to make friends with?
    Is this really matter to study in U.S.?

    Why I ask you these question is that U.S. have strong image of freedom, but I really want to know about real situation.
    I also would like you to tell me about international position.

    These sentences sound serious, but feel free to respond it!
    Please just think to help me a little, coz I am sick of to consider these matters.

    Thanks for reading.

    Hi Marie,
    To make a quick response;
    You don't really have too much to worry about. You'll find people from all over the world and from every political-belief/class/religion/etc.

    You'll also notice that many of the professors are originally from countries other than the U.S. And this would include Japanese professors.

    Just be yourself. You'll fit in just fine!

    Cheers,
    william
