We should all congratulate Tim May for getting "The Best Emerging Philosopher" award. He won the award after he published his book "All day long" which contained a new outlook on the present world scenario. There is a bit of problem though. Tim May is being told to testify in court about the veracity of some events he mentioned in the book.
The publisher has meanwhile held the publication of his book for this reason. I am Tims friend. I have read his book and I have to say its better than most of the books which tell you that what you already know at the back of your mind or are a conundrum. Thank you Tim and BEST OF LUCK.

Intriguing but a bit lacking in information...

What is "The Best Emerging Philosopher" award? And who awards it?

    on the present world scenario
What scenario? Political, economic, educational, scientific ... ?

Come to that, who is Tim May? What has he done before?

after he published his book "All day long" ... publisher has meanwhile held the publication of his book
So is it published or not? I tried Googling it but there seems to be no mention...

Tim May is being told to testify in court about the veracity of some events he mentioned in the book
Is he a witness or a defendant? Who is bringing the case? Which court? What is the case about? Is it civil or criminal?

So many questions ... but I suppose that is the nature of philosophy.

It would seem that there are still issues to be resolved with the book. To win an award for something there are still issues about sounds a bit dodgy to me.
