Hi. You see, I have a lot of mental and emotional sadnesses, like I think quite a few ppl do, and I thought, the chat is would be a better way to discuss it with ppl like me. It's live. No need to refresh. I personally think it would be slightly better... Just a little pointer.

No need to spell check, fact check, or think before I spout-off either. I thought your recent problem came from thoughtless rapid texting?

This actually occurs from time to time in chat already. Though, I do believe that your idea of perhaps proliferating the discussion of the current issues in individual's lives may be worth considering.

Though I believe most all of the regular posters on the forum are full of good intentions, I don't think you should necessarily seek out psychological help from people on the internet. I haven't heard anyone on the forum claim to be a clinical psychologist/psychiatrist.

We do not have the training to help you or anyone else sort out their mental issues. We can be a shoulder to ... um... lean on.. you don't seem the crying type. And we can be an outlet through which you can vent, but I wouldn't consider us a resource of reliable help.

I realize at your age getting the help you need can be difficult, especially if it is difficult to reach out to your parents for any reason. Sometimes the very people we need to reach out to are the most terrifying prospects, maybe due to fear of letting them down, or fear that they will stop loving you. But they are your parents, and while I can't say that all parents are good and loving, I can say it is their responsibility to help you. If that doesn't work there are other avenues. But parents should always be the first avenue to take, since they are the ones with the legal responsibility and right to get you medical treatment.

Speaking badly about people after they are gone and jumping on the bash the band wagon must do very well for a low self-esteem.
