There's thousands of users of forums at times... I'm the only 1 on chatbox... Is there pedos on there or... What the heck is up?
In my observation, most of the users at these science forums (I'm on 5 science forums) like to watch and read. When something really grabs their interest, then they will actually log in and post. Not all science forums even have a chatbox because science forums are not the same as social media in that regard. Once in a while, a few folks will be on the chat at the same time and really get a conversation going but that is not something that happens every day.

Weren't we all, to some degree, guilty of the above at age 13? Perhaps not you, Dywyddyr, but there is that saying that goes along the lines of "Quick! Hire a teenager while they still know everything."
@xDARTHWOLFx, Today's women will sometimes ask a guy out but there is a long history of women being the one's to send 'signals' and men being the ones to take the initiative and do the asking. It's just the way it has been for a long time and our species tends to be slow to adopt some changes, especially where gender roles are concerned. The fellows I have liked have always been the 'shy' ones so I had to help them out a bit with their confidence levels.
