Hi,
just wondering the other day, how would you use the mm range as a medium for info and how would you construct it? I know the farther we get into the spectrum, the more smaller the waves get.

Presumably you're talking about millimetre wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum?
What do you mean "use it as a medium for info"?
It's EHF radio and millimetric radar.

Thanks Dywyddr. yes i was refering to the em spectrum. Apparently you could use that range for many applications like IR(Infra-Red) to carry data. just wondering if Sonar can send out a signal which reflects back off items, could you increase the amount sent so the sonar wave received on the other end shows up having abnormal wave patterns on the computer screen?
Um, sonar is sound. That's it.
You could "pulse" it to send Morse code, you could (I suppose - it may have already been done) convert speech into a modulation of the sonar pulse and then convert it back at the other end - hydroacoustics isn't anything I've particularly looked at.
It'd depend on water conditions, what frequencies are used and probably a gazillion other things.
