It's just turned Christmas here for me in England and I want to take a moment to just wish you all a happy Christmas or whatever it is that you celebrate! May all your dreams come true. Peace and good tidings to you all![]()

Merry Christmas to all...and to all a good night.
And from me, I wish for a happy and harmonious festive season for all. May all your dreams come true.![]()
My wish is that in this coming year there would be more instances where common sense lived up to its name.
It is heading toward 6:30 a.m. here in the Yukon and pitch black as yet, -23C and with windchill feeling like -34C, a fairly normal temperature for this time of year. There is just as much horse sense as ever, but the horses have most of it. ~Author Unknown
The best of the season, indeed, and may 2013 be a year of abundance and opportunity, energy and accomplishment for all who frequent here.![]()
It's well and truly over here. Perfect day. Clear sky, maximum 23C, light breeze occasionally.
Two happy families. Lots of fun and laughter. Lots of yummy food. (I now own the remains of the turkey and a heap of veg, so tomorrow is sandwiches and salads for us while we turn most of it into soups and stock and pies/casseroles.)
Been stormin' and power outages here.
Here's hoping that the power stays on for all those with electric ovens to cook their holiday meal. I'm envisioning the potential for fire hazard if everyone decides to deep-fry their turkey on the balcony.

Yeah...we got snow in Dallas. (singing) " I'm dreaming of a white Christmas." Power went out for an hour, and the internet was down all day...it just now came back up. We chose to stay home instead of traveling to Paris...so we didn't get to ride horses.
