Oh lawks. That tree is tasteful and elegant. Not something I've ever achieved, or even tried for.

My approach is simple, too much is never enough. Colourful, vulgar, extravagant ostentation is the only way to go. If you can see there's a tree underneath the tinsel and baubles - yer doin' it rong. If you can see there's a colour from your hardware paint display wall missing from your tree - yer doin' it rong. My closest friend insists that her trees should have only red, gold and green on them. Pshaw, phooey.

Not having a tree here this year, still got surplus furniture to get rid of for this little house, half the size of the old one. Biggest issue for Xmas - ceilings are about 2 feet lower here. Very restrictive on size of a tree.

We have a shortage of trees here. So using a Holstein skeleton, instead. Just stand it upright, decorate to taste.

Ooooh! Is that supposed to be His Noodly Majesty on top of that tree?

I'd never thought of including the Flying Spaghetti Monster. What a good idea.
