It's true Today I have noticed a recording of 100 likes. The fact that I had to promise Members great expectations if they would find it in their hearts to post me a Like when I started out in the Forums, All members quickly warmed to me, except perhaps 96% of them.

So thank you all, escpecially scheherazade who has been responsible for over half my Likes. scheherazade and I have an understanding. I like Her Likes, I like Her ability to find the unfindable in Music Vidios, I like the Wisdom displayed in her Postes, but above all I like Her Honesty and courage.

I know an endorsement by westwind does not necessarily carry a lot of weight, nor should it. The Science Forum has an important role to play in dissemenating factual information to those looking for some guidance.

I'm paying my way. If I thought I wasn't I would be gone like the West Wind. Maybe my theoretical Science knowledge lacks conviction, and equasions are meaninless to my left sided brain function, my cerebellium being mainly geared to emotional issues, the ability to recognise talent and intelligence, and to string a few abstract words together that just may hit a nerve. Or open an otherwise closed door.

Thank you all. For new Members do not hold back if you really have something to offer and help add to our Knowledge Bank. If you feel this Science Forum is controlled by older or more senior Members, remember we were all 3 Posters at one time. westwind.

Now, MacGyver 1968, You had better be quick on the draw, coming from Texas an áll. I've been practicing and I'd shoot the lugs off your trouser belt before you could say, hey!! WTF. westwind.

Well done my friend, you taugh me a valuable lesson and no doubt a few others, that is it is better to give than to receive. It's always nice to log on and see 'new likes received' sitting there in your notifications, but I also now get a real kick out of knowing that when I give out a like other members will have that same nice feeling seeing new likes received and it's not like I'm going to run out of them to give, so thank you for teaching me/us that lesson.

I know what you mean about Texans, I had to live in that state for 8 years. I'm still trying to figure out if MacGyver is atypical or not. But his cooking topic makes up for a lot of Texas shit. Also, Schez is a great poster in more than this forum. It's hard to say enough good things about her.

Quick on the draw only matters if you can hit the target....when it counts, lol...

I was taught to gently squeeze the trigger at the end breathing out. One should not know exactly when the firing pin is going to drop if one has done this correctly. You become one with the target.

I agree that it is very nice to know that people are reading one's work and that it has resonated with some, sufficiently so to encourage them to be a participant and not only an observer. That bit of positive feed-back provides incentive to dig a little deeper, read a bit more, share a bit more. The power of positive energy in motion...

MacGyver does seem to be unique, for a fact and I thank you for your kind words and support on several of the forums we both participate in. You, also, are a positive influence wherever I encounter your posts. You encourage others and are able to question in such a way that your few criticisms are ever constructive in nature.
