    Title = japanese saying.

    I was wondering if this could be applied to "The pen and the sword" aswell in some form? Any creative ideas?

    I tried myself but it seems I cant apply it without causing the opposite to be true aswell. As in:

    The pen is stronger than the sword, because the sword obeys the pen.
    The sword is stronger than the pen, because the pen obeys the sword.

    In context any armed man could intimidate a "Pen wielder" just as the guy with a clever tongue or with the use of a pen could intimidate or command an armed force.
