Thread: Something weird I thought up

I have resently seen a video on YouTube about a gamma ray probe orbiting the earth.It's job is to pick up gamma rays from thunderstorms.You see thunderstorms release an upwards burst of electrons. When one of these electrons grazes an atom it turns into a gamma ray. In the unusual occurrence of a gamma ray hitting an atom something odd happens. The gamma ray transforms in to an electron and a positron which travel along magnetic fields So I was wondering if you could build a machine with could replicate this procedure Send me your answers and try not to be to mean to me because so far I've only done self research because I'm considered a bit weird at my school and I haven't had a chance to to talk to my science teacher And yes I am a little young for this but I known a hell of a lot
