Thread: What minor misconduct do research students engage in?

We already know of the major kinds of misconduct that are frowned upon - deliberate fraud, falsification, and so on.

But are there any kinds of minor misconduct that scientists routinely engage in, knowingly or unknowingly? Like discarding outlying readings?

I'm trying to put together a survey incorporating all these minor kinds of misconduct and asking students what they have done routinely. Can anyone suggest any more types of minor misconduct I can include?
