Help?
Upon searching the forum, I still have no clue where to place this question. I found here to be the most reasonable, but truely, I'm a bit skeptical.
Anyway, soon I'll be looking foward to major in Earth Science and I have a few questions to everyone out there.
1. What university, in the world has the most prestigious Earth Science department? If there's alot you can list them here.
2. What are the most important subjects needed in studying Earth Science? My choices are Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics. I'm not sure in what order the importance is.
Thanks very much, and I'll like to say I am truely sorry if I placed this question in the wrong forum.

Well Geology springs to mind first and foremost

Depends a bit on your interest. Southampton is famous for it's Oceonology for example, but in fysical geography/earth science my university (Universiteit Utrecht) isn't doing bad either. But maybe someone else could give you more reliable information ;)

Sorry I don't know but, you may want to try the education forum. I am sure they both get just as many people though.
