    ok today my maths teacher gave the whole class this random lateral thinking question before the class started. It went like this;
    Mr.x wanted a house where the windows in all of the rooms faced south. How did he manage this? No one got it, except me and this girl behind me. My teacher was surprised to see that someone said this question was harder than our previous maths test.

    anyway you guys tr and figure it out also. Its fun

    Have the house shaped as a donut oval built on the slant of a hill, so that the flatter side of the ovel faced south? Every room would be capable of having a window face south that way...

    Here's the problem with questions like "what would we see if we traveled faster than the speed of light". Since the rules that govern the universe as we understand them do not allow for such a possibility, to imagine such an event forces us to abandon those rules. But that leaves us no guide by which to answer the question. We have no idea as to what rules to replace them with, and we can't give an answer. - Janus

    You could have the building shaped parabolically with the "open edge" (which faces south) having all of the windows.

    EDIT:

    Actually, no, just have a building which is built into a hill facing south so that it only has 1 window comprising the front of the house- which faces south, like one of those eco-friendly houses.

    Build a toroidal house around a courtyard centered on the south pole with windows facing inwards. You could lease it out as a summer vacation rental for crazy people. No point building at the north pole facing outwards as the ice moves around.

    I believe the answer is that the house is in the North Pole?
