Thread: seen any really cool project on a recent Conference? do tell

Hi,

Im trying to find a really cool research project or topic to use for writing a pitch for a broad audience science magazine. The story must be really fresh, not out there in the news media, but at the same time really cool, interesting, novel, curious, etc.. you get the idea.

If you recently went to a conference and ran into a project that made you go WOW!, or maybe found a recent article that made you wonder, please share!, I would love to hear about it.
