LOL. I was a high school drop out.

Later though after almost loosing my life as a commercial fishermen and after an brutally honest talk from a friend of the family I had tremendous respect for, returned to college and learned that the best way to study is managing your time, sustained effort throughout your studies and keeping yourself emotionally and physically fit.

I didn't revise. I still don't, as an undergraduate. At some point this is probably going to have to change...

I wasn't greatly into revision. I found it too demanding. I relied on superb exam technique, reading a little before going to sleep at night (when memory retention is at its best) and being amazingly lucky.

I highlight in class, write that up at home. Then type it. Then read it. And when the time for the exam comes I do the same again. Simples. :-D

I am graduating from high school this year and already took my exams. For me, the key was using several sources/textbooks, and going through the material a couple of times (if I had time). I also found doing practice questions (w/answer and explanation) to be more entertaining than just reading textbooks, and it also allows you to see what you know/don't know.

I never studied in high school. I just payed attention in class and took notes when they were given. Dont think i ever read through my notes afterwards though. When there were no notes to take i just tried to participate in active discussion with the class. I have a pretty active memory retention already, so being in class was pretty much all i needed.

I only had one class that was an exception, which was AP Chem. My teacher litterally told me this half way through the year "If you were in a regular AP Chem class, you would have an A. But your in my class and I expect a lot more from my students, so as it stands you have a D." For this class I would show up to class an hour early to go over the homework with the teacher, and then I would help the other 2 students with theirs. Still cant figure out how i could be teaching all the other students and still have the lowest grade in class.
