A couple times on this forum I've commented on science's seeming inability to reach out and draw in support. Many scientist are mind-numbingly dull and not only uninterested but completely unaware that in our information-saturated society it takes more than dry facts and cold logic to get people interested enough to listen. This is particularly important in the face of well refined disinformation campaigns put forth by religion, businesses etc.
