    -people are often impolite

-people are allowed to skateboard all over my school where ppl are walking (almost been hit twice on my way to class), which is odd..it's like cops don't care about disciplining these cocky annoying losers anymore

-ghetto trash rap music is mainstream

-prices on everything are going way up

    -difficult to find jobs

-overpopulation leading to excess traffic, less jobs and an influx of foreigners (we must set a limit somewhere..yes, America is a country of immigrants but we can't support everyone)

-celebrities are worshipped as gods moreso than ever before ..worthless airhead nobodies like the kardashian sisters and jamie lynn spears would never have been famous 20 years ago..although hollywood has always been full of nepotism at least they had to be at least somewhat talented in the past to maintain a tv series or star in movies b/c the public was bright enough not to tolerate being fed trash...now anyone can star in a movie pretty much..takes away from the former charm of hollywood..you used to watch t.v and think "wow, what a talent. I wonder who is responsible for discovering her/him?"

Speaking as a foreigner who influxed quite a few years ago, you have never supported me and you are damn lucky to have me.

It's fewer jobs, not less jobs.

This country supported you. If you ever had a job here or recieved government benefits of any kind then my country helped support you. You are lucky we allowed you to come.

Both "less jobs" and "fewer jobs" are grammatically correct. I earned a 31 on the English section of the ACT.

I'm sorry but people like you annoy me Bunbury. You act like you aren't grateful for what you've been provided with. Sure, you worked hard like the rest of us but we gave you the opportunities you needed to be a success. Don't be arrogant. I have nothing against yo but we don't NEED you. You are just as dispensible as anyone else.

I'm just sick of all of this political correctness imposed upon us today by society. We have to sit around idly while our cultural identity is destroyed. Soon there will be no Rock music...only Rap. More and more white kids will pretend to be black or hispanic in order to fit in. Rap culture is mainstream..not some underground movement. It changes the way people behave. You think our elders get no respect now? Wait and see what happens in 30 years or so. Yet that won't be the most pressing issue. There will be millions more unemployed, embittered people due to rising tuition costs and higher college dropout rates..this will lead to a higher crime rate...the government will continue to raise taxes, drop social security benefits and otherwise drain us financially in order to grease the pockets of greedy politicians and the wealthy CEOs that they work for...there will no longer be an American Dream...

I'm open to suggestions. I merely stated my opinion. Explain to me where I am wrong if you believe me to be.

You asked me, so I shall tell you. You are a self centred, self indulgent, simplistic, arrogant prick, so wrapped up in your own frustrated desires, so intolerant of any difference from what you condescendingly define as the norm, that you stew in a caustic soup of anger and distaste wholly of your own making.

Your response to Bunbury was ignorance personified. From everything we can tell from his many posts on this forum Bunbury is a postive, useful, contributing member of society, who leaves the USA a slightly better place than it would be without him. In contrast you are a whining adolescent who can't get a simple first degree, can't stick with any task long enough to complete it, thinks the universe should revolve around them and is offended to discover it doesn't.

I had thought there was some recent improvement in your attitude, but this thread shows you to be beyond plausible redemption. Take inow's advice if you want any sort of future. I shan't be reading your negative crap anymore.

And less jobs is frigging wrong.

You've forgotten to mention the corporofascist buck ratburgers. Yeah, they're salty, only a buck, and they make a turd, but it's a &!#%@*^ ratburger, jammed between two hunks of high fructose corn syrup laden genetically modified playdough notbread.

As far as Rap goes, what you're probably being exposed to is corporate bull$#!%. No hit, no flow, #^@*!%& sucks.

And what are you worried about some skaters for? I thought you were built stout.
If I can make it through any day with my greatest difficulty or pain being bumped into by a skinny teenager, then I call that a win.
Think about the skater, that guy has probably, sometime in the last week, nutted himself on a metal rail followed up with a concrete snack.
That's pretty cowboy. How can a person not have some respect for that?

By the way, anti-immigrant rhetoric is, of course, a re#^@&lican talking point.

True. That doesn't change the fact that I am right.

I was simply angered by the comment "you need me". It came off as incredibly arrogant. I've always liked Bunbury.

If you can't handle the heat stay out ofthe kitchen. I will not lie to people. I would say the same things to you in real life. I fact, I have before and nobody gets angry for the most part.

    "people are often impolite"
Education. Making sure everyone gets an Education has benefits for society as a whole.

"people are allowed to skateboard all over my school where ppl are walking "
This is only a problem if the people skateboarding are as self-centered and individialistic (as the people walking might be), if it wasnt the case and there was an area designed for skateboarding it might not be a problem. If these teens had free access to a greater variety of activities it might be even less of a problem.

(I can imagine the caricatural Libertarian guy being the first one to complain about being forced to pay taxes for a park for kids since he doesnt have any kids, and otherwise also being the first one who would complain if there werent a park and kids were playing on the street he lives on instead. )

"ghetto trash rap music is mainstream"
Who cares? If country music was mainstream would that be much better for those who hate it? But, let me take a guess, the right type of music that should be mainstream is the one you personally prefer?

"prices on everything are going way up"
Thats the economic and monetary system, it sucks alright. Its been sucking for a long time for a lot of people around the world such as on Smedley Butler's list of intervention, and for sweatshop labor or mutilated blood diamond victims, all of which matters less as long as its other people, I guess I can undertand that, up to a point.

"overpopulation leading to excess traffic, less jobs and an influx of foreigners "
Overpopulation? What overpopulation? There are vast expanses of land (and sea) on earth that are empty. The traffic is caused not by population per say but by concentration of population in a specific area and by the absence of incentives to prevent traffic and provide adequate mass transit. GM, Oil and Rubber/Tire companies have bought public Trolley companies and sabbotaged them since its more profitable to have each person buy his own 1 ton GM product, his own Oil to move around his 1 ton GM product, and his own tires that need replacing on a regular basis, very innefficient but oh so profitable! War, disease, inefficiency, dependancy, addiction, are all gold mines in our current economic system.

    "celebrities are worshipped as gods"
Thats awful indeed. I think its mostly cultural, and in small part related to inadequate education and side effects of the economic system itself (marketing, hype, consumerism).

    My point exactly.

    Agreed.

I don't like country either. It's just that rap promotes violence. It isn't like Rock, which, yes, contains profanity and incites violence on occasion. Yet, for the majority of rappers, violence and ignorance is a lifestyle. Except Will Smith. But he is incredibly lame. Lol.

It's just that rap promotes violence.
If thats the case its a major problem indeed. (I dont listen to rap)
In an Ideal situation, you would want kids and teens to have the tools and references required to also make a judgment that material promoting violence should be shunned, have the population dislike it rather that have the population want it and prevent its diffusion.

The plan is to keep more people from coming in by setting a limit. We don't want you to leave.

Some famous rappers, and sample songs:
    Eminem:
    Like Toy Soldiers
    Particularly:
But I ain't tryna have none of my people hurt and murdered
It ain't worth it I can't think of a perfecter way to word it
Then to just say that I love ya'll too much to see the virdict
I'll walk away from it all before I let it go any further
But don't get it twisted, it's not a plea that I'm coppin'
I'm just willin' to be the bigger man
If ya'll can quit poppin' off at your jaws well then I can,
Cuz frankly I'm sick of talkin'
I'm not gonna let someone elses coffin rest on my conscience

    Nas:
    I can
"If the truth is told, the youth can grow
They learn to survive until they gain control
Nobody says you have to be gangstas, hoes
Read more learn more, change the globe "

    Tupac:
    If I die 2nite
I could probably have found a better one, but in this song he explains how he has lived his life violently and in pursuit of riches in an attempt to be a soldier, but how in reality (referencing a quote from Shakespeare's play Julias Ceaser) he has been a coward, giving in to greed, and thus suffered a thousand deaths.
"I'm sick of psychotic society somebody save me"
"Don't shed a tear for me nigga I ain't happy hear
I hope they bury me and send me to my rest"
Essentially, describing how he has lived his life violently, but rather than promoting it saying that the end result of this lifestyle is that he isn't happy and welcomes death.

I'm sure some songs may really promote or glorify violence but I would not condemn an entire genera based off of this.
While I'm not sure how well all the facts about the history of Africa check out from "I Can", the message seems to be a very positive one.

Only because directing your anger outward is far easier and less anxiety provoking than taking a hard look inward at yourself and who you are as a man... Sorry, whiny boy.

I disagree with the validity of the first sentence in your previous post, and I've frankly grown tired of your incessant whining and crybaby mentality.

I know you're working through some things, and that you're frustrated. That happens to all of us, but it disgusts me to watch the way you spew this seething irrational anger and hatred all of the time toward totally innocuous things.

I've seen how often you talk about being a nice guy, and how the girls don't like you because of this, and then that nice guy mask is shown to be total bullshit when you make posts like the ones in this thread and others railing against immigrants, or against rap music, or against skaters, or against whatever the last completely meaningless mundane thing you saw was that caused your fucking hair trigger to snap.

You talk about beating people up for looking at you wrong, and how like the best thing in life you could do is benchpress 400lbs. Really? Wow... Watch out for this one... He's ambitious! You're a child in a man's body, and I'm giving you some tough love. Grow the hell up. Fucking work through your drama, talk to someone who can help you, find some friends, and just let go of the teenage angst. I'd be afraid to have you in my class because you strike me as one of those dumbshits who brings a gun into the classroom because he feels inferior, loses his marbles, and thinks such a weak immature act will some how magically fix all of his problems.

You are lost in the wilderness and you're scared. That's okay. You asked what my problem was... Yes, I have a few, but I also take a hard look inward to deal with them and acknowledge them and try to improve. I'm basically asking you to do that too... We're not your fucking mommy, so stop asking us to cuddle you and let you suck our tits.

I think that you've got a lot of potential, and that you can do some great things, but I also see you pissing it away spending all of this time in a self-centered way continuously throwing tantrums about nonsense. The first nine or twelve times you did this on the forum I was nicer about it, but you've passed my personal patience threshold now, so I'm showing you what a baby you're being and asking you to stop.

Talk to a counselor. Try buddhism. Do both. I don't know, but stop coming on here like (to borrow from Ophi) a self-centered, self-indulgent, simplistic, arrogant prick, so wrapped up in your own frustrated desires, so intolerant of any difference from what you condescendingly define as the norm, stewing in a caustic soup of anger and distaste wholly of your own making.

    inow is a dick
    Ophiolite is a dick
A lot of people are dicks and society has its dickish complex.

The key is ignoring these kind of people and parts of life and finding those who will help your life and to whom you will help them also.

People like inow and Ophiolite having apparent 'maturity' have a tough time realising that they went through such spells once and cannot relate to human beings, or at least communicate in a way that is without aggression and personal frustration, frankly I do not understand why if they are so mature they easily get pissed at a random person on the internet venting their issues. You both should know better, honestly.

Personally I would say inow is being incredibly insensitive again as Ophiolite is.

...a self-centered, self-indulgent, simplistic, arrogant prick, so wrapped up in your own frustrated desires, so intolerant of any difference from what you condescendingly define as the norm, stewing in a caustic soup of anger and distaste wholly of your own making.
And what is that then? You are a walking hypocrite inow. Look at how you have come across in your own posts inow you need to take that plank our of your eye before you tell gottspeiler to take the sawdust out of his. People like you cause gottspeiler to get into the esteem they have in the first place you insensitive prick.

Growing up isn't about 'taking it' it's about becoming mature to the ways of the world and to flow with them instead of telling them to people and how they should or should not conform or suffer the consequences of castigation and insensitive ridicule as if 'they deserve it' if they do not. Frankly from older people all I have seen is condescension, social isolation from the needs, desires and basic human want for understanding and compassion.

Gottspeiler came her to vent what he feels, thats normal and fine and I'd like to see people like you inow do the same, because I see past that false screen, inside you are the same insecure, frail human being that we all are inside, and insulting others, telling them to 'grow up' only serves to assume and summise that you yourself are wise, mature and safe in your own little world by believing and reinforcing that very notion.

Wrong, and frankly all anyone who truly is mature will see you inow being a egotistical know it all dick with no compassion for another human being. I see it all the time, frankly I turn it away from me and show the other cheek but I will not stand and let you slander and someone and tell them to take it when they are appealing for you to just listen and understand them without ridiculing them or trying to 'fix' their 'problem'

    -people are often impolite
Yes they are, a lot of people tend to be for several reasons:

    1: Tired
    2: Have diarrhea
    3: Dog just died
4: Just split up from girl/boyfriend
5: Are in their own little world

There are plenty of reasons, mostly we don't realise because we are in our own little world as well. Being polite no matter the situation (as I'm sure you are) is a blessing not many people have. I myself am always polite to strangers and kind to all people (until they cross me or abuse others).

Its something that we are unique for having and remaining polite is what stops us from turning into them. They can't help it, they just don't have the strength to remain polite no matter what, they're weak. Nothing wrong with that humanity has its weak branches as any tree does.

-people are allowed to skateboard all over my school where ppl are walking (almost been hit twice on my way to class), which is odd..it's like cops don't care about disciplining these cocky annoying losers anymore
I wouldn't find this a problem myself yet it seems to have happened enough for it to bother you. It's something that they enjoy doing so to fight it is to fight nature. There is a quote from Bruce Lee here you might benefit from knowing:

Quote Originally Posted by Bruce Lee

Try not to fight nature and things you cannot control. Like the weather, people, buses etc. That will only serve to frustrate you, you can't change the rain. It's best to just let be whatever will be. I learned this and have benefited greatly from it.

-ghetto trash rap music is mainstream
Yeah that's true, I hear a lot of crappy music too. It's the mental age of people in society though, people conform don't forget, they conform easily because they don't want to be alone and isolated, they don't want to be unique. They're weak remember? This kind of music is just the manifestation of this conformist attiutde. Nothing you can do about it again, just accept it. Try to find the music you like and people that like what you like.

Oh and have you heard that song 'friday' by Rebecca Black? it's awesome!
.... Not, god I hate that song too.

-prices on everything are going way up
That has happened before a lot, recessions come and go, its the consequence of unintelligent people when the 'spend spend spend'. Again another consequence of the intelligent people who know how to manage money who suffer (us). They will come down again or wages will go up. Eventually though humanity will have to overcome currency and money if we want to progress into the stars and ascend spirituality forms.

    -difficult to find jobs
Yes I agree, it's tough here in the UK to find a decent job. They are out there if you look real hard. It again stems to putting in that extra effort to get what you want. Although thats easier said than done, and why should we right? Why do we have to be the different ones? The ones that are persecuted and have to work harder?

Well my friend mother nature chose us to excel and won't let us off the hook until we do, and we will be hearalded with Earth in our actions and contributions to the planet and humanity where people like inow and Ophiolite will have been long forgotten. You see, people like inow and Ophiolite are what I call 'Colour' or 'Chaff'. Their purpose is to serve the background colour of the world in which we struggle to make ourselves something, to contribute and truly help progress mankind. They are there to make our lives difficult in that we can greater contribute to humanity and earth when it is needed quickly.

-overpopulation leading to excess traffic, less jobs and an influx of foreigners (we must set a limit somewhere..yes, America is a country of immigrants but we can't support everyone)
Britian is similar, we have an open door policy in which they can come and go, it's a lot tougher over here, cities are densly populated by different origininated people. Excess traffic is a bi-product of no spending in making more roads, making one-way systems and what not.

If the governments of the world spent a lot less on military budgets and put that into research we could have flying cars, free energy in each home. Yet they won't because they know they would lose control. Again it's something we have to get uesd to and create a solution ourselves.

-celebrities are worshipped as gods moreso than ever before ..worthless airhead nobodies like the kardashian sisters and jamie lynn spears would never have been famous 20 years ago...
Again its the intelligence level of society, it is degrading. Then again I could be wrong it could be just that tastes are changing and lets admit it we didn't have a lot of taste in the 80's and 90's so its only natural that celebrities are worshipped. Also people have no purpose in life, no positive role models. Dad's an alkie, moms an emotional wreck, gods bullshit so who do I act and worship??? Justin Beiber!

You know its like that, its unfortuante yes, yet we have to live with it for now and change history ourselves, as I have said it is our duty under persecution to heal the world in which others like inow have damaged it.

...now anyone can star in a movie pretty much..takes away from the former charm of hollywood..you used to watch t.v and think "wow, what a talent. I wonder who is responsible for discovering her/him?"
True, people just want money these days and are willing to sacrafice talent and quality for a quicker buck. Some movies are good today yet I agree most are rubbish. But then again it was the same in the 80's, and 90's and before. We just have a tendency as humans to remember only the best from the past and not the worst.

I am 110% positive that people thought the same 10, 20, 50 even 100 years ago. Knowing that, let's learn from that and make the world a better place. The world is ours, and there is enough for everyone! :-D

Meh, personally I find inow and Ophi's directed criticism of a pattern of behavior to be less dickish than broadly condescending to vast groups of people.

People listen to rap music and enjoy celebrity gossip because they're idiots and conformist? They may like music because its what is popular and what their friends are listening to (forget the possibility that they actually genuinely enjoy the music). What is the problem with that?

I think it's a bit hypocritical to take a position of superiority relative to the majority of humanity while criticizing inow and Ophi for being mean to Gotts.

Being mean is not my intent. Maybe blunt and even simultaneously pointed, but tolerance went out the window when I saw how gottspieler replied to Bunbury. That showed me without question or possibility of challenge just how far gott has his head lodged up his ass, so yeah... I was a little harsher in hopes of him maybe finally making progress at extracting his cranium from his rectum.

Speaking as a foreigner who influxed quite a few years ago, you have never supported me and you are damn lucky to have me.

It's fewer jobs, not less jobs.

Yes... Poor gotts. I just up and decided to spit on and kick this kind compassionate empathetic human in the stomach for no good reason whatsoever.

Context is important, Quantime... as is history.

I stand firmly by my previous post to you, gotts. Do something about your anger. Talk to someone. It's becoming a real problem, and that's true for you and also the rest of us now.

For ****'s sake you frigging idiot! I am sick with frustration at the fact that I cannot get through to gottspieler (or you for that matter). I have never met you and probably never will meet you, yet it pains me deeply to see the self imposed anguish you and gott subject yourself to. Like inow I intially tried gentle persuasion. You and gott are so wrapped up in yourselves that didn't work. If I didn't give a shit about you I wouldn't be using my time to try to get through to you. It hurts me, but more than that it appalls me that you are to ****ing self centred to understand this.

You might take note of this: gottspieler comes on to forum moaning an whining about how life treats him like shit. Do you ever hear inow doing that? Or me? I shout and scream about injustices, about willfull ignorance and about members with their heads up their asses because it hurts and offends me to see fellow humans screwing up so badly.

Admit it and apologize. Man up, I believe they say.

You're right. There is a difference. Sorry.

My point was simply that none of us are special (although many of us are unique and valuable members of society). We are all human. And thanks for the last comment..if you sincerely meant it. I'm not a hateful person. Not usually.

I see where gottspeiler is coming from I personally think that some of his venting issues aren't much a big problem we humans have a tendency of over exaggerating things when we feel under appreciated etc etc.

The time of Star Trek is worth the wait, advanced science, lust for money dissolved, no hunger and the only thing greatest is to discover one's self. Don't u just hate it your not born 800 years in the future?! How wondrous the world will be by then, ................no one ages........genetic engineering solves the puzzle....

Its a nice thought but people are too stupid and selfish to be allowed such technology. About 99% of the world would stab you in the back for that tech. We're not ready as a species, in fact if time travel/genetic superiority etc is invented, then the best of the world should leave with this tech and make a new world, then let this planet die.

makes much sense, but I'm optimistic and tend to look at "how it could be" I conclude our race has potential to turn itself around with the help of education. No wonder philosophy is important

I believe narcissism, or as the popular man calls it swagger, is necessary for winning in the race that is capitalism. For example, I only drink 40s mixed with cough syrup because that's how ballers roll. Whether they are amazing physicists, gangsters, playboys, it doesn't matter. I, and a few select others, are the chosen ones.

    Here to inspire.

What is the moral fabric that binds society together? Understanding. Relating. And it's alot easier to do this when you live at the median as opposed to going above and beyond what's required. Being excellent scares a lot of people. Inspiring others never was an option.

So for the few who can do it, whether they be artists, mathmaticians, poets, bankers, whatever... they do have an inherent self belief that allows them to act with conviction. A belief that they are the few who rise above the rest and this narcissism fuels their fire. A belief that they are not like... everyone else.

I think your anger issues have been bubbling to the top, gottspeiler. You're angry at work, at society, at things which shouldn't really matter to you. I have no reason to care, but I really suggest you figure out your feelings and accept the stuff with your dad and talk to someone who is trained in helping to heal emotional scars. If you have already, then keep trying, maybe even with someone new.

Anyway I agree with your overall message but not your reasons to support it society sucks! Agreed I would have just been more neutral in my reasons to support that... but thats my opinion and ur entitled to yours.
