Okay i know the title of this post seems like a physics thing, but actually im asking one very simple question. You know how some movie theaters these days offers movies in 4-D, i mean 3-D yea i get it but wth is 4-D?? As far as my physics knowledge tells me 4th dimension is TIME. So what would 4-D movie theaters actually intend on showing to their customers?? TIME??

Could just be a marketing stunt to pull in the uneducated.

I'm not sure I would enjoy a Bruce Willis film, say Die Hard, in 4-D. Sounds dangerous.

Im not quite liking the name entitled to give a movie theatre that just throws some extra effects(water spraying on your face, seats shaking etc..) as "4-D" , NEVERTHELESS i very much enjoyed Avatar in 4-D.
