Thread: Mathematical Dream

I had a unusual dream in it i was with some hypothetical dream students who were preparing for advanced mathematics exams. I recalled my school days when for five years like test lab guinea pig i was made to study advanced mathematics upgrading year after year. It sumed up to be newtons second law of notion, that i happened to be giving mathematics exams in dreams even after completing my college a decade ago. The study material seems again an upgrade from the earlier. I again finished up the maths exam successfully. Yet again it seems that i practically got all answers a hypothesis and logically got every sum correct. The dejection got me spasms and i said to myself where does mathematics thrives?! ...it thrives in the sewers, agitated mobs and in dreams!

i once had a dream where i was trying to solve all of life's problems big or small using maths - that was some nightmare, that was !

When I used to program a lot, I was sometimes stuck with a bug in the evening, during the night, I was seeing the solution, clearly. In the morning, all was going. I also have a lot of idea, not when dreaming, but in the 'reverie' (i don't know the name in english) period, just before sleep, when your mind is going away.

Some years ago, I wanted to show to my daughter how to make a real sprint start. Unfortunatly, it was night and there was a small stone on the road, I walked on top and fell at full speed (and I am still a good sprinter). So, all the skin of my left forearm went off, I tore some muscles in this arm and dislocated the shoulder. Very very painful. In the hospital, they made an injection of valium to decontract the muscle, morphin to stop the pain and then ketamine...
I can remember when they put back the shoulder, the pain was yellow but not painful, it was making sound and the all was full of light. It was like a sergent Pepper Beattle movie... When I awoke, I had a serious erection, the nurse was embarassed and all was clear in my mind. I told the nurse "I found how I am going to finish my paper on fault sealing and shale gouging". I did it. So, it's not only the dreams but ketamine seems efficient.

Far from me to promote the use of ketamine in labs to progress in structural geology but....

I again had a dream where i went to a pyramid house in which the rooms and alleys were like puzzle. Lot of trees were around the pyramid. Inside many aged students were preparing for exams. I checked my books which were of size 1.5metre by 1.5metre and pages more than 500. Each student had atleast five books. In one of the books were the writings of symbolic language. My minds perception told me that i knew the language. Then i woke up.
