Help with the format of a scientific experimental report?

I am writing an experimental report and I am required to do an "evaluation".
The marking criteria says, "Evaluated the procedure and identified areas for improvement".

I think by "evaluation" they want me to identify problems encountered in the procedure, and if any to state how to fix them.

Can someone tell me if I am correct or if there is an alternate way of going about an evaluation of an experiment? I also need help with the term of discussion!
