Finally enlightenment for some misguided Christians. Will Islam follow?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHqwBDVeVTM

It has taken some generations for misguided Christians to come to their moral senses as it pertains to Gays.

For far too long a time, Christians have discriminated and denigrated Gays without just cause or any kind of justifiable reason.
Most if not all sins must have a victim and where homosexuality is concerned, there is no victim or anyone hurt by Gays following their God given natures.

Christians are finally recognizing that if God did not want Gays here, He would not created them.

Letís hope Islam and other misguided homophobes follows suit.

Have you reformed from your wrong view, or have you yet to become enlightened?

    Regards
    DL

Both sub-elements of this question presume that I had at one time what you describe as the wrong view. Since this was never the case your question holds no meaning for me.

    I do not mind.
The question was more for those who think wrong.

I don't see how that is even news worthy. The United Church of Canada has been blessing and performing gay unions for over a decade, and the Anglican Church of Canada was nearly declared out of communion from the Church of England because of its tolerant policies (it was declared out of communion with the Church of Uganda, oh well).

What Christians believe is of little concern to me, as long as they understand their beliefs aren't reason to interfere in the lives of others.

I was baptized United, but that hasn't stopped me from leaving the church despite its more liberal views.

I am not surprised that Canada lead the way to a higher moral stance.
Thanks to the U S Bible belt, the U S is more backward thinking than most nations.

Literalist and fundamentals are just murder on right thinking.
It comes with the beliefs in talking animals water walking and a God that will die because His creations sin.
We are just to die for. LOL.

To be Gay is just to die for from God's POV.

I received this elsewhere and thought it was excellent.
    I added the quotes.

    Deuteronomy 32:4
He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

    Matthew 7:18
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

    Ephesians 3:8-10
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

The existence of Gays, male or female, proves that no God currently claimed by the monotheistic religions, in fact exists as the claim that this God is omnipotent and the creator of all things would not create any being that was not genetically perfect in the nature of any animal species. Thus it follows that because homosexuality involves a variation in sexuality which in not of the normal range for copulation to produce offspring in the human species, such perfection has not been achieved. Thus perfection has not been achieved, thus no God exists. And don't forget other birth variations as well! The claim by Christian that Jesus was a God in human form is also a nonsense belief also and totally unverifiable just as his claimed resurrection rather than a revitalization after his crucifixion, is. As for Jews and Muslims' attitudes to homosexuality, the creation factor simply applies to negate all their claims.
