Here are some pictures of the snowstorm we are having in the US northeast. I live in western Pennsylvania, which is not even in the main path of the storm.

Don't overdo the shoveling Harold. I hear that stuff is like wet concrete.

Not to worry. I'm taking it easy, and don't need to go anywhere, so I'm in no hurry. Also, I've been exercising so I'm in pretty good condition.

The lights flickered off just now though. Hope I don't lose power.

It looks like a normal winter to me...

Haha, but ya don't overdo the shoveling, you feel it the day after. The snow hasn't been that bad this year.

Wow Harold, beautiful scenes. It has only snowed twice in my lifetime in my town, but not nearly as much as this.

You're not missing much. I got trapped in snow for 2 hours once when I was 8, the snow in our backyard gave out under my feet and it took that long for my mother to notice my absence.

The stuff is a hassle: it makes driving hazardous, it's strenuous to shovel, it cost millions of dollars for the city, and it's cold.

I think the worse weather I've seen is the 1998 icestorm (persistent freezing rain for a week), we didn't have electricity for 2 weeks and had to stay in a shelter. I've only seen hail a couple times in my life, which I'm thankful for.

We're all shoveled out. I might have to go buy a snow blower one of these days.

    Nice pictures there harold,

We had some Irish snow over the winter and the whole country shut down.

Id say it was at best, 1/10 what you had, if not less.

Don't get me started on the sun, with its cancer and making me sweat and all.
