If I had a secret button or pill which would make immortal I would push or take it; but this a whole different case of wanting scientists to create such means.

I don't understand what you are trying to say, what means?

    Probably because I forgot words:

If I had a secret button or pill which would make ME immortal, I would push or take it; but this IS a whole different case of wanting scientists to create such means. (means to immortality)

Meaning: personally I want endless life, however it isn’t the good direction for society, (however this is discussed in other topics).

Personally, I have no idea what I want. I guess I am happy with death choosing for me. If I live forever, so be it, but I prefer not to have to make the choice, in other words, I'd not pull that switch.

Indeed, regarding society, I think we can all agree that most people live too long already :P

nothing is forever, you may not age but you body and you conciousness will pass on sooner or later.

wether or not i take the pill to immortality for me depends on many many things. which i am not going to list for the sake of keeping this post short.

but i think there is a higher probability of me rejecting the pill.

There is an ironic trend going on.... It is that all the younger people are saying "I really don't care". The older people are saying "Ehhh if I could, I would." I bet eventually we will all want to live forever. For now, I don't really care about living forever.

It is easy to tell people's ages by the way they write, and the vocabulary they use. :P And smiley faces...

That, and I just know the general age of most people just from the topics they have made...

    My guess of your ages:
    Ps2: Early 20s
    Him: Early 30s
    Homo: Early 30s
    Wallaby: 16 or 17
    Me: 15.427

Wallaby said "Nothing is forever....." and he's right. Just remember that includes the sun, the planet we're on, and every other sun and planet you might migrate to. Of course, that will take billions of years and by that time you might figure out how to create a whole new universe to live in.

Golly .... Do you suppose that's how this all started in the first place?

One only goes in life once.

From where I sit, once is going to be about all I can handle.

I dont think we should alter our lifespan. If this happens The population in our world will increse on and on and on. In the end earth will be too crowed to live.
