Hi everyone,Is there any one out there who could tell me how much fuel i'd save by taking the taxi sign of my roof.The mileage average is 100,000 miles a year at a cost of approximately £3500.Don't know how to work this out,short of driving for one tear with and one without.Your help would be appreciated,cheers Kev

I don't have a precise answer for you, however the taxi signs are mounted with the length of the car producing a much smaller footprint for wind resistance. It would also depend on the type of car your driving and it's unique aerodynamic characteristics. In the end I suspect it's going to be pretty small. Drive a high efficiency vehicle and it will matter even less. You also need to provide some dimensions for this sign. I've seen short signs mounted on top all the way to massive billboards.
