I have subscribed to Scientific American before and i knew it was great but I might be missing out on more stuff out there, if u would know of any very nice magazines please let me know , i am familiar with science illustrated, discover, and the weekly science magazine by AAAS but still it deos not hurt to ask
    Thanks!!!!

You can subscribe to "Science" magazine. It's a weekly publication of the best research in the general field of science. It's often difficult reading, depending on your educational background, but you won't find anything with more valuable content. I think it's pretty expensive though. List price is $10 per magazine. That's $520/year.

Yes i have checked out a few of their magazines and theyare preety damn advance, but I think they have 2 levels, 1 for professional science and one for more of a casual read

would like one for general reading and also very very informative, kinda like an informal scientist, a scientist without a paper diploma kinds thing
