An amazing site lots of you will find helpful.
Its still under development, but an alpha test version got released about a month ago.

Its kind of a scientific search-engine.

I searched for it on this forum and was surprised it was never mentioned before.

For such an "amazing" site, its poorly designed. It looks as though it was optimized for IE, leaving the FireFox user out in the cold. CSS styles aren't rendering properly, mousehovers disappear behind text boxes, text over-writes other text... etc.

I don't know what it looks like under Safari and Opera, but under FF it's shit.

Can't speak to the content, though. I wasn't interested after the problems above.

Seems to work fine for me in FF.

Interesting search engine. There was an article about it a few days ago. I can't recall where I've seen it.

I think there was an article on it in NewScientist a few weeks ago.

You have used a bad search engine because I used this search engine in one post on this forum.

I did, however, check it out in Epiphany (which a Mozilla browser engine for Gnome) and it displayed fine.

I actually listened to the NPR interview about the site on Monday without realizing it was the same. Here's the link to that interview if you want to listen: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/s...ryId=105438559
