Currently I'm Grade 12 but still 17. I will be 18 next year.
I took
Biology 12 & Chemistry 12 this year. But I didn't get marks high enough to reach U of T's expected averages.
I got 73 on Bio 12 and 68 on Chem 12. Chem was pretty hard, actually I got the teacher who knows how to teach in too details but I don't like it sometimes because she messes up our understandings, we ask and another day there're another way of explaining she uses so it's another mess again. It's just some teachers who do that but I don't blame her as I think she's the one who knows most about science in my school.
So is anyone on this forum attending or been to U of T? I would like to get your opinions if you don't mind.
I'm planning to take the following courses to get into Life Science program.
eng 12 uni (taking this summer)
bio 12 uni (planning to retake)
chem 12 uni (planning to retake)
phy 12 uni (taking next year)
adv function 12 uni (taking next year)
calculus 12 uni (taking next year)
these are what my counselor suggests me. I talk to my counselor a lot but I don't have much friends who are in U of T so I asked here hoping that someone will answer.
Here is the part I really want to know. I am planning to retake bio 12 and chem 12 next year. What are my chances of getting into U of T for Life Science program?
By the way, where/how can I find what averages Harvard is expecting for Life Science, doctory stuff?
