    Dear Science Forum

I am a animation student currently working on a project about an imaginary machine.

I ask you for your help with coming up with ideas of what this machine can or could do.

Heres how its going to work:

    for example

I will say the machine will be 17 miles wide

and then somebody will possibly reply by saying the machine will be made of gold

and then somebody else will reply and so on and so forth

its a bit like a game of word association

So anybody who wants to take part just reply to this massage

Many thanks in advance hopefully there will be some interesting results

    I will Start:

The Machine will be 17 miles wide

The machine will be powered by bat guano.

    What! It's a renewable resource.
Man can will nothing unless he has first understood that he must count on no one but himself; that he is alone, abandoned on earth in the midst of his infinite responsibilities, without help, with no other aim than the one he sets himself, with no other destiny than the one he forges for himself on this earth.

The machine will be able to serve hot, chocolate-chipped cookies at a moment's notice.

Or it can kill anyone with a red-hot laser beam if you're animation doesn't make the grade.

    Take your pick.

Ohh come on, what good are my imploding explosive bolts going to do with plastic uranium. Can't we just make it out of weapons grade plutonium ?

The machine spent some of it's existence on the sea bed, where it was dredging and pumping oil. The shell of the machine is covered in barnacles, rust and small circular 'marine vessel' windows, some of which are dimly lit.

This machine has a cephalic-looking region where much of the processing occurs. It is shaped like exactly like Tom Cruises giant nose.
