Sorry but this is no riddle. I should have explained myself more accurately in the initial post.
Approximately 50 years ago my father who was a dear hunter in New Zealand experienced this phenomenon while walking on a bush track. The image apparently appeared in front of him as if it was a mirror but it had depth and was translucent. The event was also witnessed by 4 other people in the party and for what its worth, my father is not the kind of guy that would BS something like this. At the time there was a write up in the local news paper and it was concluded that it was due to the atmospheric, environmental, light rar rar rar conditions.
I just wanted to know what the phenomenon was called.
