Well, it's more about population density than population generally.

    But it's interesting.

sculptor and Cogito Ergo Sum like this.
"Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen." Winston Churchill
"nature is like a game of Jenga; you never know which brick you pull out will cause the whole stack to collapse" Lucy Cooke

So that's the smallest circle possible where the statement is true.

You could also do the negative statement: the "less people" circle would begin over Peru and expand around the globe until it met its nemesis. Why does this seem less meaningful than the first circle?

The more people circle is expanding if I'm not mistaken? When does a new center win smallest circle status? Where is it?

Someone needs to write a book:
"Over population of the planet; a cannibals perspective."

When I look at population i remember back to when I was making pe-tri dishes of Rhizopus Stolofer(bread mould) it had the uncanny ability of spreading and creating colonies until it exhausted it resources and produced its own killing agents.

    Silly me.
I thought that Petri dishes were made out of glass or plastic, not from the Rhizopus stolonifer.

Apart from correcting the species name of this mold, what are these killing agents you speak of and what is its relevance?
"The only safe rule is to dispute only with those of your acquaintance of whom you know that they possess sufficient intelligence and self-respect not to advance absurdities; to appeal to reason and not to authority, and to listen to reason and yield to it; and, finally, to be willing to accept reason even from an opponent, and to be just enough to bear being proved to be in the wrong."
