I saw Al Gore's film about global warming. It is personal and convincing. Gore sees the burning of fossil fuels as increasing the amount of carbon dioxide in Earth's atmosphere. As a result, the atmosphere is retaining more of the sun's heat. Temperature is rising. Glaciers are receding. Polar caps are melting. Ocean water is warming and driving hurricanes. Gore links Katrina to global warming. He compares his warning to that of the Nazi threat before World War II and to the warning of the effects of smoking. He invokes Carl Sagan's pale blue dot as an image of the smallness of our planet and its vulnerability. Man has become a force of nature with the capacity for implementing destructive climate changes unless he alters old habits.

I am sympathetic to Al Gore's cause, At the same time, there is another inconvenient truth. This is the truth of 9/11 and the fact that we are better off with a Republican government as long as there are Muslim extremists whose goal it is to destroy the United States. These fanatics do not differentitate between our political parties. They would kill us all. George W. Bush has defended and continues to defend America. If Bin Laden and al Qaeda have such little regard for human life, they are certainly impervious to the effects of global warming.

The actions of Bush, supported by the Republican majority, and given a veneer of respectability by poodle Blair, have generated far more Muslim extremists than they have captured or killed.

The U.S. invaded a country under the pretext that it is going to attack us with lots of weapons of mass destruction. It turned out that it wasn't true.

So who is called who a terrorist ? Basically, the coalition attacked a foreign country for absolutely no reason, and these people should be happy about it ?

Why do you post this extremely odd opinion as being a truth? It would be one thing if you were to defend your claims, but you have shown that you have no interest in responding to people who respond to you. Are you posting this controversial claim as the truth in an effort to spam?

I think you have an interesting view Jim, i mean, George Bush certainly has attacked Iraq, etc which is terrible itselft but what has to be taken into consideration is what would have happened in America if pressure wasn't placed on the extremist groups at their base.

9/11 was a shocking moment and it showed that even a giant like the US can be targeted.

Overall though, i disagree with your opinion and believe that an increase in defence and security in America as well as diplomatic relations with the middle eastern countires (create benefits and trading deals that will benefit these countries. I do not believe that these countries should be hushed up or bribed but i think that if their quality of life is improved, the number of extremists will dwindle as they will be content with their lives)would have been much more efficient and so many people wouldn't have died.

("I am zelos. Destroyer of planets, exterminator of life," indeed you are doing your part to earn your tag line  )

This is the truth of 9/11 and the fact that we are better off with a Republican government as long as there are Muslim extremists whose goal it is to destroy the United States. These fanatics do not differentitate between our political parties. They would kill us all. George W. Bush has defended and continues to defend America. You are as much a fanatic has them in your own way (that is if you actually read posts instead of planting political advertising).

The US (UK/Israel) is reaping the harvest of death and sorrow it has seeded in the last century.

The US has fostered insurgencies, revolutions, death squads, political assassinations, coups d'etats to replace democratically elected governments with Pro-corporate rubber-stamping regimes. In the process hundreds of thousands of people have been killed (millions by some estimatess) around the world by US supported militias, dictators and occupiers.

US and UK toppled the democratically elected government of Iran, replacing it with the Oil corportate rubber-stamping Shah that killed and tortured countless iranians, result: Islamic Revolution people chanting 'Death to America'. If the US/UK would have left the #$% iranians alone in the first place there would not have that level of fanatism!

The US supports Saudi Arabia which has no election, no official opposition, any Saudi that wants to oppose the Regime must by definition be an outlaw. Some of them think its better to attack the regime's supporter(US) that the regime itself. I'm not saying the US should bomb Saudi Arabia (bombing and war being the US's answer to any issue[War on drugs, war on terror, war on hemoroids,] ), but it should at least not support it to that extent. Most terrorist involved in 911 were Saudis.

Palestine was fine until European zionists decided that half of it would magically become a Jewish state, then all hell broke loose. The US supports Israel with billions in military, support Israel's military occupation, theft of water, colonizing in occupied west bank that continues to this day. Of course the oppresed destitute people who are occupied robed of their land and water hearded in refugee camps will resort to terrosim if they are desperate with no other means to defend themselves, give them several billions of military equipment, tanks, jet fighters, attack helicopters and bombs and they wont blow themselves up, they'll drop bombs just like Israel does and instead of being called terrorist they'll be called soldiers. There will be no peace until both sides agree to peace, and Isreal will not argee to peace as long as beleives itself to be superior enough to impose its rules uniterally, and it will continue to perceive its superior fire power as the solution to impose its unilateral rules as long as it is supported politically, militarily and financially by the US. This situation is added to the festering list of problems in the region that foster extremism in the region and beyond

You're better off with Republicans! Ha, thats a riot!

The Republicans are a bunch of dogmatic corporate puppets whose greed and corruption results in unimaginable incompetance.

You are FAR worst off with Republicans, they see 911 as an opportunity to rip you off, you had a surplus and now have a wopping deficit, your national debt is set to cause the economic collapse of the US and the War in Iraq is making it worst with each passing month. After 911 the whole world rooted for the US, but Republican politics has turned millions sympathisers into people that dispise the US. There's no link between 911 and Saddam's Iraq(which was supported by the US btw), none. Your republican president lied to you on national tv, republicans have crafted a series of lies to herd you like cattle into a war in false premises, sending you into a war.
When the US started the War, other countries including France warned that it was a bad idea, people across the world demostrated in unprecedented numbers! Result, France was insulted and desecrated, world opinion was discarted like crap, no the US would listen to its Republican government and go head first int a war that not only is crushing your economy with debt AND killing thousands of US servicemen AND depleting your army AND killing iraqi civilans by the thousands AND generating outrage across the world AND pushing the country into a civil war AND allowing fanatics to take control AND radicalizing muslims in the region, but on top of ALL that its also creating MORE terrorist enrolement then there was to start with and a perfect training ground!
In addition, as if this wast enough of a #$% mess, the Iraq civil war could spread to other parts of the region, and techniques used by insurgents in Iraq are now emulated in Afghanistan. Bravo Republicans.

And then the latest war in Lebanon is generating sympathy for Lebanon and Hezbolla in the Arab world and world wide indignation against Israel and their US supporters (no cease fire until it can be durale).

Better off with Republicans! Geez Thats precious!
Then theres Global Warming, just about the whole world thinks its the worst problem facing humanity yet Oil-backed republicans spread propaganda against a world wide consensus. Again the US and friends look like a world menace.

No wonder religious nut cases beleive in the end of the world and the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, they're busy making it a reality. Its not a prophecy its a recipe.

(but I cant blame you, no more than I can blame an unquestioning islamic fanatical crack-pot from beleiving his religious leader is right, if you think Republicans are better you are too far gone and theres nothing anyone can do to make you snap out of if)
